They make a good product for a reasonable price and the shipping costs are acceptable. The Drake Estates line has worked fine for us. The oak is a medium tone..somewhere between rustic and warm oak. It isn't that orange/red honey color that some stains seem to produce. The end tables are well made, pre-assembled (gotta love that) and oh so functional. The storage it offers is a plus. Because the tops are oak veneer, I had a piece of glass made for both end tables. That was a great idea as we have three cats and accidents happen! We didn't have a lot of room and the smaller square size is perfect. So glad we found this item. We would not hesitate to buy this product again. I wish I had more room. Our recommendation is to find a show-room and sit on the chairs for a while to see if they really fit. The delivery time was very prompt and after the assembly required, the chair is comfortable. However, the only complaint I have is that the "color" is NOT what I expected, nor it is what I ordered. It's much darker and I'm a little concerned how this will match my other furniture. I'll have to give it a few days to see if I can warm up to it or not. That is the real reason for the lower rating.
